In a fantasy world, similar to the Earth of millions of years ago, amongst brutal and stupid ape-men, live a sociable and wild boy, (known by everyone simply as Bastardo), who possesses a rudimentary intelligence, and a lively girl (Lucy) who guides him to the discovery of feelings. They are accompanied by the huge Mammuk, a true living symbol of poetry and goodness – it is a pity that it is also the most coveted prey for all hunters!
